We are a babysitting agency based in Mykonos island that provides childcare services for tourists. Our services are intended for parents who visit the island with their children, but also want to have some free time to enjoy the beautiful beaches, parties and nightlife that Mykonos has to offer. We take care babies and children from 4 weeks to 15 years old.

Our Team

All our nannies are Greek, experienced, qualified, they speak English and some of them are fluent also in other languages. They are background checked and First Aid/ CPR certified.

Some are trained in taking care kids with special needs. And some other are newborn experts. Most of them are tutors, but all are very kind and good energy persons full of love for children.

References are available upon request. We take care of your children always according to your instructions.

The Owner

Fani is a mother of two kids and she lives in Mykonos the last 15 years.

She graduated from University of Athens at 2004. She studied Physical Education and Sport Science and she is specialized in kids with special needs. After finishing her studies she moved to Mykonos and she started working in hotels as a trainer. At 2006 by chance she babysat a little boy, from France, in the hotel she was working for. That experience was determinant for her future job career!

Having worked closely with children, who visited the island, for over 10 years she decided starting the first nanny agency in Mykonos.

As a mother she completely understand that some parents are filled of unease while leave their kids with a totally stranger in a foreign country.

For that reason she tries put them at ease providing the best services they can get.

- What are the hours of operation?

Mykonos Best Nannies can work any scheduling times, for example, early mornings, late nights, middle of the day, etc.

- Are Mykonos Best Nannies CPR and first aid certified?

Yes, they always have current certification.

- Are Mykonos Best Nannies background checked and reference checked?

Yes, both are checked and available informations are given at the time of booking.

- Do Mykonos Best Nannies provide transportation?

No, for liability purposes we don’t offer transportation.

- Do Mykonos Best Nannies administer medicine?

No, we don’t administer medicine for liability purposes.

- Will i have the same nanny for my entire booking?

Yes, it is very important for both the family and nanny to work together the whole time, providing the best care.

- Do Mykonos Best Nannies take children for swimming?

Yes, swimming at the pool or beach is permitted. However, it will also depend on the children’s swimming ability and ages.

- Do Mykonos Best Nannies bring toys, crafts and activities?

Yes, this is just one of the things that makes Mykonos Best Nannies unique! We arrive with a fun filled “magic bag” for entertaining such us toys, games, books, crafts and activities.

- Can we meet our nanny to make sure that she fits for our family?

Yes, with advance notice, you can meet or talk to her before making the final nanny booking.

- How far in advance should i book?

It is always good to book in advance. July and August we are very busy.. However, Mykonos Best Nannies will do their best to provide nanny service and on last time requests.

Bookings & Payment Policies

• To book any service, please write us directly to our mail: info@mykonosbestnannies.com
• We suggest you to book your service(s) as soon as possible. Last minutes bookings are accepted as well, as long as we have nannies available.
• To confirm a booking, we require a minimum of three hours per service.
• Payments are usually done in cash in EUR and if you prefer you can also pay through wire transfer (vat/tax fee apply).
• Half hours are charged half of the hour rate, after 30 minutes will be charged the full hour.
• Transportation is not included in the hour rate, this extra fee depends on the location of the service.
• Tips for nannies are not obligatory, but can be accepted if offered.
• On last time cancellations, less than 12 hours before the beginning time of the service, there is a penalty fee of 60€.
• Alterations to the schedule are acceptable but not in less than 3 hours of the beginning time of the service.

Additional Policies

• If a child is sick or has any special needs, it is parent’s responsibility to inform the agency/ nanny in advance about the situation and suggest the proper way to take care of him/her.
• If a nanny get sick or something emergency happens and she is not able to continue the service, the agency is responsible to send you another one.
• All our nannies have Fist Aid Certificate, so they are qualified to assist in any accidents or emergencies that may occur. Parents understand and agree to this, accepting that agency, our nannies and/or the concierge/ hotel/ person that contacted them with the agency, will have no legal or monetary responsibility in case of any accidents occur during the babysitting services.
